HOW WE WORK WITH SELLERS
ANSWERS TO SELLER FAQs
1) Can other sellers find out information about me?
The system is completely anonymous with every buyer and seller being
identified only by their "GUID", - a unique randomly generated
reference number, to indicate their participation in an auction.

2)
How can I submit a bid?
Simply type in your bid in the box provided on the auction page,
and click on the submit button.

3)
Can I bid any amount?
The system will detect ridiculously high or low bids, and ignore
them, otherwise it will accept your bid and display it on screen.

4)
How many bids can I submit?
As many bids as you feel are required, remember that you will be
able to see other bids coming in, and you may want to react to their
input. However make a careful note of the expiry time of the period
allowed for bidding.

5)
How will I be informed of a successful bid?
All participants are notified of the results of an auction, either
by e-mail, fax, post or telephone, depending upon your stated preference.
The successful bidder and buyer are put in touch with each other
when the buyer has approved the identity of that bidder.

6)
What happens if my server/PC goes down during an auction?
Unfortunately, we cannot detect the difference between your server
going down, and you simply logging out of the auction. Your last
bid will, therefore, be deemed to be your final bid. The alternative
is to appoint a proxy bidder. (See Q6 General
FAQs).

How do I get paid for goods/services that I sell through Tenderbid?

buyer have been put in contact, delivery of goods and payment details
are finalised by mutual consent. Tenderbid are not involved in the
completion of the transaction.

10)
How can I tell buyers about myself?
You can offer no information about yourself to the buyer at all,
otherwise the system would be open to abuse. It is the fairest way
to obtain the best price, and complies with the purchasing requirements
of most publicly accountable organisations.
